Come celebrate ‘World Read Aloud Day’ with us!! We are celebrating, the day after, on Saturday, February 2nd, with local Children’s Author Angela Jeffreys’ and her picture book The Purple Frog. The event takes place from 1pm to 4pm & Angela will be reading her book aloud at 2pm and again at 3pm. There will be colouring sheets and stickers for the kids and maybe even something sweet. #worldreadaloudday

In celebration of Mi’kmaw History Month, ‘The Purple Frog’ was published in both English and Mi’kmaw. Both versions will be available during our event, along with the book CDs read in Mi’kmaw by Bernie Francis and Hubert lunch bags.
